It was an evening that saw the sapta swaras of Carnatic and Hindustani music merge with the rustic notes of Rajasthani folk music to create a perfect symphony. That was how music aficionados got to see Rajasthani folk artiste Chugge Khan perform alongside Grammy award winning Indian percussionist Vikku Vinayakam and vocalist Vidya Shah at a concert in South India. The concert, held in Coimbatore’s PSG College of Arts and Science Auditorium was a treat for lovers of fusion music.
