Sri Unni with his melodious rendering of each piece with its distinct flavour, enthralled rasikas who had come in large numbers.Rasikas were taken through a journey of melodious music which was both soothing to the ears and appealing to the heart. The music was free flowing with all the required embelishments to give a wholesome feeling. Thodi was the main piece and was dealt beautifully.Sri Unni brought out the nuances so well in every aspect, be it the raga, the neraval or the swara prasthara. Embar Sri Kannan played the violin with a lot of sensitivity and accompanied excellently adding great value to the concert. We had the doyen Sri Kamalakar Rao on the mridangam who accompanied with grace. Sri Dayanand Mohite on the ghatam gave good support.
