The information for the following event was shared with us by a subscriber of Margazhi.org – Susheela Venkataraman

We were treated to an absolutely divine music ensemble by the trio Sri HK Venkatram on the violin, Sri Ravikiran on the flute and Sri Ashwin on the veena. The magnificent Abhogi varnam set the stage for a fabulous concet that followed. The variety offered was refreshing and playing was soul filling. Everyone in the auditorium was transported to Brindavan- the Lords abode with a feeling of being one with the Lord and amidst all the wonderful sounds of nature. The bon homie on stage and the happiness with which each artist performed was extremely infectious and instantly gave a lot of happiness to the rasikas. Each of the artistes’ played a piece and they were very well supported by the other instrumentalists, along their deliniation. Their team effort was complemented and suplemented by Sri Manargudi Eashwaran on the mridangam. The way he played was outstanding. He embelished the concert with his playing. It was a treat watching the team on stage and the chemistry Sri.Easwaran shared with the artistes. Sri Narayanmurthy on the ghatam was extremely supportive.
