It was a scintillating concert by Sikkil Gurucharan on the eve of tenth December 2012 at Brahma Gana Sabha. The twenty five year old artiste enthralled the audience with high quality music. He has got this magical ability to weave magnificent music. The concert started off with a varnam in nalinakanthi by Lalgudi Jayaraman. The main piece came as Chetulara sringaramu. This kriti, which is usually rendered in karahara priya or bilahari, was differently sung in nata bairavi, which according ti Gurucharan was in Semmangudi’s style.
