One of the founders of the Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana festival, V.V.Sundaram has been associated with hosting artists and festivals in Cleveland for over three decades now. Dear Sivaraman, the 36th year Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival is scheduled to start on Thursday March 28, 2013 and will be dedicated to the memory of two of the greatest exponents of Indian Classical Arts namely, the natyacharya Sri K.P. Kittappa Pillai, and Maharaja Swathi Thirunal.

Thank you very much Mr.Sundaram. On January 1,2002 I happened to get a seat near you for Mr.Palghat KVN’s concert at Asthika Samajam, Tiruvaanmiyur, Chennai, a memorable concert. After a thrilling rendition of Intha Soukhya in Kapi you made a remark that “this is pure South India Filter coffee.Others are only the instant variety.”I mentioned about that remark in an article written by me and published by Sruti.

Respected sir I am K R subramanian alias suppa of kallidaikurichi cousin brother of Dr K Ananthanarayan a double PH.D in maths and computer science professor in sandiago associate with you in ur bairavi. also the relative of the dr who will be seated near you in margazhi festival jaya tv known as A thonthi vilagam street Ambi for us who is the son of Dr mani of kallidaikurichi. God has blessed me with some good voice and a good karnatic raga knoledge with which I sing viruthams on siva and our gods only.my daughter saratha and her 10 year old son student of Asokh ramani.They are intending to come there from Tulsa .I am 87 years old. I have only age to bless you for your yeomen services for the spreading of carnatic music in the western world Subramanian

Most respected sir Only today I had the luck to open the Cleveland Aradhana site and LO! I was amazed at the greatest site explaining the massive arrangements organised by the committee and the great services rendered by various great people joining you to conduct in a foreign land the great great greatness of Saint Thiagaraja our beloved revered Divine Guru of carnatic music a real befitting Aradhana to be praised remembered and to be taken to all our music generations to come Even though unluckey to see it in my life visually the website completely showed in full the entire programmes children artistes adults and all music lovers. I am 87 years ; yet I seeas if it happens before me.as I have gone many times to Thiruvaiyaru aradana.I pray the lord Seetha Ramachandra to bless you, your tribes, your friends tribes, and all who was instrumental to conduct this Oh! how I wish to serve you as avoluntier I pray the almighty to let me live for one more year so that I can attend. with my wife 81 I talked to my brother Dr Kasi Ananthanarayanan in Utah who is going to mount Kailash this year.Thank you All subramanian
