Srushti Kathak Kendra will organise an evening of kathak dance performances by dancer Asavari Rahalkar and her students on January 9 at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Tilak Road, at 5.30 pm. Rahalkar and her students will present traditional kathak pieces along with some new and innovative choreographies. She is an examiner at Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyala Mandal and Tilak

Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and recently received the membership of the Council for International Dance (CID), which is affiliated with UNESCO.
