Maestro U.Srinivas is the leading mandolin exponent in the world of Carnatic music today. He is a musical phenomenon to whom perfection of tone and execution come as spontaneously as the free and unfettered flow of his ideas. U.Rajesh, tutored under the guidance of his father and brother, started playing Carnatic Classical Music on Mandolin at the young age of 6. He has performed along with great artists like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Vikku Vinayakaram and has been part of U Shrinivas India music ensemble from 1987. U.Srinivas & his brother U.Rajesh are performing a mandolin duet at Pennsylvania who will be accompanied by Madirimangalam Swaminathan on the Mridangam and Trichy K.
